Alice Channer

Transformational Coach

Hello!

I'm Alice Channer - a former doctor, a trainee psychotherapist and most importantly a transformational coach with a rather curious mind.

Just a couple of years ago I was asking myself all of those questions on my home page, until a coach helped me to find myself again. I was burnt out (although I didn’t understand this at the time), struggling to keep up with a ‘normal’ pace of life, and I had just discovered at the age of 33 that I had ADHD.

After plenty of transformational thinking, supported by my own coach, I made the big decision to leave my medical career behind and retrain as a coach myself! (And because I have ADHD and can’t focus on just one career change at a time, I’m also studying for a master’s degree in psychotherapy, but that’s another story for another time..!)

Transformational Coaching did exactly what it says on the tin for me – it has quite literally transformed my career and life into one that aligns with my meaningful purpose, leading to a stronger understanding of what really matters most to me.

I would love to help you with your own journey towards a sense of self, purpose and alignment.

About The Curious Mind Practice

I founded The Curious Mind Practice in 2025 because to me, curiosity is the most important tool in any transformational journey. Alice In Wonderland was known to exclaim “Curiouser and curiouser!”, and as a fellow Alice I find myself thinking that same phrase often!

In the future I hope to develop The Curious Mind Practice into a space not just for transformational coaching, but also for psychological exploration and healing, after I complete my psychotherapy qualification. That will be a few years from now though – watch this space!
